Terms of Service

These terms govern use of The Real 1:1. By accessing the service, whether through your employer's subscription or your own, you agree to them. We keep the language plain.
Accounts
Accounts are issued to named individuals and are usually provisioned by your organization's HR administrator. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. Do not share logins.
Acceptable use
Use the service for employee development. Do not harass others, do not scrape or bulk-extract data, do not attempt to bypass access controls or role restrictions, do not reverse engineer the service, and do not use it for surveillance or for any purpose you would not want to defend to an employment lawyer.
Customer content and ownership
Content submitted through the service, including 1:1 answers, notes, plans, reviews, and uploaded documents, belongs to the customer organization or its people. We use it only to operate and improve the service as described in the Privacy Policy. We retain all rights in the software, design, and methodology.
AI-generated output
The service produces AI-assisted coaching guidance, summaries, and draft documents. That output is a decision-support aid, not professional, legal, or HR advice. Managers and administrators remain responsible for the employment decisions they make.
Subscriptions and fees
Paid plans are billed in advance under the order agreed with your organization. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Changes to pricing apply from the next renewal term.
Availability
We work to keep the service available, but it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may perform maintenance and may change features over time. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
A customer may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current term. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for other users. On termination, content is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will post the revised date above. Continued use after a change means acceptance. Questions can be sent to legal@thereal1on1.com.
